Deliberate Luxury: The Alpaca Collection originates in the Andean Mountains where regional farmers pracrice small scale herding.  It is cruelty free.  How is that even possible?  30% of the herd is lost to the elements during the rainy season.  We salvage the hides which would otherwise be a complete loss to the herders.  The natural life cycle in these mountains is beautiful yet harsh.  This is a way to bring furs to the market - a silver lining type of situation which also helps sustain their partners in Peru.
