Lee started out his career as a cabinetmaker and furniture restorer. Later in life he successfully studied for a degree in Architecture to enhance his understanding of the combined fields of architecture and cabinetry. He has a keen eye for detail and can bring that extra style to a project. Experience has led him to create products that are unique and tactile, using natural materials such as hardwoods, fabrics, leather and metals.  He is currently a member of the Guild of Master Craftsman. 

 

In 2014 Lee started Hewitt Design. This has enabled him to work on prestigious projects mainly within London but also in other parts of the world designing interior elements for luxury hotels, museums, castles, cathedrals and super prime residential markets.

Hewitt Design are now launching their own brand of luxury products, the first product is this stunning Lincoln card table, with Italian leather arm rest, French polished runner inlayed with a brass trim and soft professional speed cloth. The table is trimmed again in a brass band to the edge set on a French polished oak base.  The leather arm rest and central speed cloth can easily be exchanged for other colour options.  Each item in this collection comes with its own serial number to prove its authentication.
